Kate Middleton is more confident and determined.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for a solo engagement and displayed a completely different body language. Middleton visited Anna Freud Centre's new Centre of Excellence in London without her husband and the duchess appeared to be different than her usual self but so much better this time.

According to body language expert Judi James, Middleton has found her “grit and determination.” This is evident in the way the royal mom of three displays stronger signals of personal charisma and emerges as a lead “in charge” royal in her own right.

“Suddenly now we get to see this much more confident-looking woman informing us she’s loving life, embracing her solo visits and even making a speech with an air of total control,” James said.

The expert pointed out Middleton’s signature smile and how it has always been congruent and pleasant. However, in her recent outing, she sported a completely different look.

According to James, Middleton often roars with laughter and has widened her smile to display more teeth and often opened mouth. She was even photographed laughing with a wide open mouth and wrinkled nose with eyes closed.

“Doing this in front of a camera without placing a hand to her face in a partial cut-off or barrier suggests high levels of confidence and a desire to emphasise her own tactile and openly fun side,” James continued.

“Her posture is always good but her rather squared and pulled back shoulders in some of these poses suggest an underlying air of determination.”

Middleton is also developing a strong sense of individual branding. Prince Charles’ second wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, is not showing signs that she’s taking a more active role, so Middleton could emerge as the new matriarch in the block.

In related news, Middleton has reportedly stepped in to help Prince William and Prince Harry end their “hurtful rift.” The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted visiting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, suggesting that the two couples have already mended fences.

Middleton and Prince Harry just made a reunion at Anzac Day service. From the looks of things, there was no tension between the two. According to Daniela Elser, Middleton is the “biggest loser” amid Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud because she lost an “erstwhile friend.”
