Kate Middleton’s youngest son, Prince Louis, was reportedly snubbed compared to Meghan Markle’s baby boy, who received more attention.

According to Amalie Henden, a journalist for Express, Prince Louis was snubbed by Brits because more people paid attention to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's newborn compared to his public debut last year. On Wednesday, Prince Harry and Markle introduced Prince Louis’ cousin to the world.

Official viewing figures of BBC and Sky News channels saw a significant increase during Archie’s photocall compared to Prince Louis. There was a 26 percent uplift in viewers of BBC News Channel, based on the data analyzed by Freesat, compared to the previous week. Sky News also received a huge boost in its viewers by about 24 percent.

The figures are significantly higher compared to those during the birth and introduction of Prince Louis on April 23, 2018. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed off Prince Louise to the world only hours after Middleton’s delivery.

Prince Louis’ debut was marred by controversy as a number of moms reacted negatively to Middleton’s pristine look. The Duchess of Cambridge looked immaculate when she joined Prince William to show off their youngest son.

Meshel Laurie slammed Middleton for giving an “unrealistic message” to new moms. According to her, the duchess pressures the new moms to look as good after giving birth when in reality, new mothers don’t really look like that.

However, not everyone criticized Middleton. Markle’s close friend Serena Williams was impressed with what Middleton did. In fact, she considered Prince William’s wife the toughest woman she knows for putting on makeup and greeting the public just a few hours after giving birth.

Markle didn’t follow what Middleton did. The Duchess of Sussex waited for two days before she steps out for Archie’s public debut. Unlike Middleton, Marke was praised for her post-baby figure.

However, between the two, body language expert Patti Woods feel that Middleton is more comfortable with motherhood compared to her sister-in-law. According to Woods, Markle was showing signs of strain on her face and there was tension in her ankles and feet.
