Kate Middleton's Stylist Natasha Archer, Royal Photographer Chris Jackson Expecting First Child
Kate Middleton's stylist and a royal photographer are expecting a baby.
The Duchess of Cambridge's stylist Natasha Archer and her husband, royal photographer Chris Jackson, are expecting a baby. According to Express, the expectant mom has been responsible for Middleton's show-stopping outfits in the last five years.
The royal photographer announced the news on Monday on Instagram. Jackson shared a snap of Archer cradling her growing baby bump. "....and in other exciting news," he wrote in the caption.
According to Hello! the couple, who has been working with the royals as stylist and photographer, tied the knot in 2017 in a private ceremony with their close friends and family. Their big day happened on the same weekend that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.
Jackson and Archer confirmed their engagement in September 2016 by sharing a snap of the engagement ring. "I'm definitely punching above my weight," the professional photographer wrote. "Apparently, it was a long time coming."
According to the staff, Archer got her job as Middleton's stylist because she can relate to the duchess' desire to dress and look her age while holding her style-icon status.
"Initially Kate was a reluctant fashion icon, but now she enjoys it. Tash helps source some of the clothes. She shops a lot for Kate online, and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on," an insider told Vanity Fair. "She has persuaded Kate to take some more risks. The hemlines are shorter and Kate’s really pushing the boat out in the fashion stakes."
On the other hand, Jackson has been working closely with the royals, especially with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Middleton. In fact, he was the photographer for the Cambridge's holiday family portrait in 2017. He also traveled with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Norway and even shared a snap of a photo he took that the British royals apparently gifted to the host during the visit.
"This has been floating around Twitter and it was fantastic to see that the official portrait I took was presented as a gift to the King and Queen of Norway during the Cambridge's Scandinavian Royal Tour," Jackson wrote on Instagram.
