  • Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
  • Goldsmith said the Sussexes didn't care about the royal family because if the did, they would have not abdicated
  • Prince Harry and Markle are planning to spend the upcoming holidays with the royal family

Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith made an online rant against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle calling them "muppets craving attention." He also dropped the "F" bomb against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

"With so much stuff going on in the world, still these two muppets are craving attention," he wrote in a now-deleted post on LinkedIn, Page Six reported.

"Please shut the F up and bring up their child and stop talking, let alone demanding," he continued.

"Now hush please we are kinda busy saving lives and an economy."

Goldsmith is the brother of Middleton's mom, Carole. The 55-year-old made the statement after the Sussexes called to end structural racism in the United Kingdom in one of their interviews.

Goldsmith stressed that Prince Harry and Markle didn't "give a damn" about the royal family. Otherwise, they would have stayed.

"We’ve all had enough of them lecturing us," he added.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward also shared her thoughts on Prince Harry and Markle's decision to leave the royal family. She believed that the decision disappointed Prince Philip who chose to end his naval career to fully support Queen Elizabeth II.

"I think he's very, very disappointed because I think he feels he gave up his naval career in order to stand by the Queen and help the monarchy," she told Sky News.

"And why can't Meghan just give up her acting career, support her husband and support the monarchy? As he used to say to Diana, this is not a popularity contest, this is all of us working together. He just cannot understand why she couldn't support Harry and help him rather than wanting to have her voice.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle are reportedly planning to fly to the U.K. and spend Christmas with the royal family. The royals have a lot of family traditions and the royal couple loves them. However, the uncertainly brought about by COVID-19 made it difficult for them to finalize their plans.

If they were to push through with their travel plans, the pandemic might affect their trip because they will likely quarantine for two weeks before they can see the royals. But they are very eager to spend the holidays with Prince Harry's family, according to sources.
