Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne Star In Ad Campaign For Mango Fashion Brand
Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne have reunited for a new campaign for the Spanish fashion brand Mango. The 41-year-old supermodel and her 22-year-old protégée have been unveiled as the face of Mango’s Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign that is called “Something in Common.” The duo starred in a Burberry campaign last year.
The British models were announced as the faces of Mango via their official Instagram account on Wednesday. In the black-and-white image, Delevingne and Moss share a hug wearing the brand’s latest clothes. Other photos show them wearing other clothes from the Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. The pictures were shot by renowned photographers Inez and Vinoodh, according to Hello.
Moss is not new to working with Mango: She was the face of the brand in 2011 and 2012. “It's so great to be working with Mango again. They are such a fresh and modern brand,” the supermodel said in a statement. She added that she enjoyed working with Delevingne once more, after the fun the pair had last year while shooting their campaign for the Burberry fragrance “My Burberry.”
Moss also praised the photographers, whom she said captured the energy of the shoot perfectly. She said that she and Delevingne always have fun together, and it is reflected in the campaign.
This is the first time that Delevingne has modelled for Mango. The 22-year-old said in a statement that having Moss by her side had made the experience special, joking that the British icon was her “partner in crime” and they both were a deadly combination.
Delevingne said that she admires Moss personally and professionally, as she represents a true fashion icon. She added that it was a privilege to learn and to share this experience with her. The shoot has been epic, said Delevingne adding that it is fun when the supermodel is around.
