Kate Upton, Maksim Chmerkovskiy Officially Dating? Model Spotted Holding Hands With Rumored Boyfriend [PHOTOS]
After months of speculation, model Kate Upton, and former “Dancing with the Stars” professional, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, have gone public with their rumored romance.
In recent photographs obtained by the Daily Mail, the famous twosome can be seen smiling while walking hand in hand. According to the report, the images were taken by photographers on Thursday while the pair enjoyed a casual stroll through New York’s West Village.
Upton, a 21-year-old, two-time Sports Illustrated cover model, was first rumored to be seeing the former TV star in June. The pair was linked after eyewitnesses spotted Chmerkovskiy, a former long-standing “Dancing with the Stars” performer, dining with the blonde beauty at Scalinatella restaurant in New York City. According to a source, the pair was spotted being “very canoodly,” the insider later adding, “It was a very intimate meal.”
While representatives for both Chmerkovskiy and Upton previously declined to comment on the status of their relationship, Upton told Extra TV in at the 10th annual Style Awards earlier this month that she was “just friends” with the 33-year-old, Ukraine native. Upton’s claims follow an insiders comments in June that rumors of the pairs romance were “false."
Both Upton and Chmerkovskiy have yet to publicly address their relationship on social media; Upton only discussing her desire to live near a juicing establishment with pals on Twitter Sunday and Chmerkovskiy sharing photos of his recent meal of Russian delicacies which he classified as “homemade amazingness."
Upton can be seen next in the comedy film “The Other Woman” alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann. While Chmerkovskiy isn’t starring in the current season of “Dancing with the Stars,” or planning to make a comeback on the long-running series anytime soon, he is continuing his career in show business. According to his IMDB page, he is poised to star in two 2014 romance films, “Lost Luck” and “Lovin’ Brooklyn.”
