Kate Upton Rocks A Black Swimsuit In 'Vogue' And Talks About Keeping Her Curves In The Weight-Obsessed Fashion Industry

Kate Upton, the latest "It" girl, has landed a fashion spread in the upcoming issue of Vogue magazine, which also features Rihanna on its cover.

Upton was shot by top photographer Steven Meisel, and is shown in a sexy backless one-piece in addition to chic fashion wear.

The seven-page spread is appropriately titled, "The New Girl," as Upton is only 20-years-old. She first appeared in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue just last year, before becoming its cover model in 2012.

In the latest issue of Vogue, Upton, who is making her second appearance in the coveted fashion magazine, talks about keeping her curves in a weight-obsessed industry.

“I don’t want to starve myself. I still want to hang out with my family and be a normal girl. You have to be confident, and that doesn’t mean starving yourself,” she says.

“I think it’s important to look at magazines and think a healthy lifestyle is attainable.

Now that the fashion industry likes the idea of me, I’m happy if I can have an influence,” Upton went on to say.

Upton is dating Justing Verlander, a MLB baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has landed the cover of the Vogue magazine, also for her second time, and discusses her dating life in addition to her relationship with none other than Chris Brown.

When asked about her relationship status, Rihanna admits that she is single.

“I have not been on a date in forever. Like two years. Haven’t gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero.

"I would love to go on a date,” she added. “You don’t think that? I’m a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point.

"Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my [expletive] back home. He doesn’t even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour,” Rihanna told Vogue.

It is rumored, however, that she and Chris Brown are back together and keeping it a secret until Rihanna releases her upcoming album next month.
