Katherine McKee Accuses Bill Cosby Of Rape: Sammy Davis Jr.'s Ex-Girlfriend Says Comedian Sexually Assaulted Her

Another woman has accused Bill Cosby of rape. Sammy Davis Jr.’s ex-girlfriend Katherine McKee, a former Las Vegas showgirl, said the alleged sexual assault happened in the 1970s while Davis was on tour, she exclusively told the New York Daily News.

“He was a different man. It felt like a different person performing that act," she told the Daily News. "Bill was so rude and cold toward me the rest of the night. I thought, 'When this boat docks, I'm out of here.'"

Even though Davis was married, he and McKee were apparently an item. "Back then, I was Sammy’s road wife," she said about her relationship with the singer. "He had an open marriage, and we were lovers. That’s how it went."

Before the alleged assault happened, she had known Cosby for years. "He was a buddy,” McKee, now 65, said. “He knew I was Sammy's girl.”

The alleged rape occurred when Cosby reportedly asked McKee to get him ribs from a local barbeque joint and asked her to bring them to his hotel room. "I remember I walked in the door, and he had a robe and cap on. He took the ribs from my hands and just grabbed me," she said. "He spun me around, pulled my panties down, and just took it. We were still standing at the door when he attacked me." She continued: "It was so fast and so shocking and so unbelievable." Her story is different from many of the other accusers who claimed Cosby, now 77, drugged them and then allegedly assaulted them while they were unconscious or about to pass out.

By like the other accusers, she didn’t say anything about the alleged assault, until now. “I was mad at my own self for not saying, ‘What the f---?’ Why didn’t I stop it and get him away from me? But it happened too fast. I was absolutely flabbergasted. And I had the guilt. I questioned myself, 'Why did I go there? Why did I bring him those ribs? Maybe he thought that’s what I wanted too?'"

She said the other women’s stories helped her come forward. “ … I felt it was time to step up and step forward. And also I think that a lot of young women trying to have a career in show business, I think they really believe that they have to put up with these kind of things in order to make it and have a career … ”

As far as Cosby’s wife Camille is concerned, McKee thinks she is simply not willing to accept the claims after more than 20 women accused her husband of rape. “This is not a stupid woman,” Davis’ ex said. “She has her head buried in the sand." Cosby’s daughter Evin also defended the comedian.

Cosby denied any wrongdoing and even called the accusations “ridiculous.” In an interview with the Daily News’ Page Six, he blamed the media for the way the accusations were being covered: “Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism, and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind.”

Since the accusations have continued to rise in recent weeks, Cosby was stripped of his honorary title with the Navy and he resigned from the Temple University Board of Trustees. Reruns of “The Cosby Show” have been canceled on TV Land.
