Kathy Griffin stripping down to her underwear is a sight we just saw-- a month ago-- when she undressed down to her bra during the CNN NYE special coverage, with Co-host Anderson Cooper. On Wednesday, the television personality took it a step further, performing a sexy strip down for David Letterman on the Late Show.

You know, it went well for me, she told Letterman. Every year I try to up the ante a little bit. I've done it for five years now and I've been fired four years in a row...One year I said the f-word so I had to give the money back.

This year Griffin said she wanted to create a moment. So I took my clothes off, I didn't tell anyone, I didn't event tell Anderson, she recounted.

I'll do it again, she told Letterman, standing up in her black, off the shoulder dress. As she started bringing it down, Letterman asked, is there anything I can do? She then asked him to get the hook, at which point Letterman uttered Oh my, oh my.....wow.

Griffin only brought the dress down to her waist revealing that she was not wearing underwear. I didn't want a panty line, she said before standing in a black push-up bra smiling, while the audience cheered.

Griffin is renowned for loosening up TV hosts. During an interview with Piers Morgan on Piers Morgan Tonight, she started to crawl across the table and kiss him on both cheeks. What are you doing? What's going on? Pier's uttered while backing away on his seat.

I say we do the rest of the show bottomless, because anyone can do topless and with the glass table it's limitless, she said, leaving Morgan baffled.
