Katie Holmes Ditches Boyfriend Jamie Foxx For Solo Outing In NYC

Katie Holmes opted to spend time alone days after she and boyfriend Jamie Foxx were seen packing on some PDA in the City of Angels.

On Sunday, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum was photographed in the SoHo area of the Big Apple donning a blue, red and white plaid summer dress that exposed her back. She also rocked a pair of high-top Converse sneakers and sunglasses.

According to Daily Mail, Holmes was shopping in the SoHo district near Spring Street. In the photos obtained by the showbiz news outlet, Suri Cruise’s mother looked serious while holding her phone during her solo outing.

Holmes’ outing came days after she stepped out with Foxx and the latter’s oldest daughter Corinne, 25, last Tuesday. During the family outing, the couple showed off a subtle PDA by holding each other’s hands while walking side by side in public.

Last month, Katie and Jamie shut down breakup rumors when they were spotted walking together through Central Park and visiting The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Their date came as a shock to many since Us Weekly reported in late February that they have already broken up.

Apparently, the entertainment news outlet claimed that Foxx announced during an Oscars after-party that he’s once again “single.” The actor was then quickly linked to “Gossip Girl” actress Jessica Szohr at the time since the two of them attended several after-parties together.

However, Szohr quickly addressed the rumors and nipped the dating issue in the bud by indirectly revealing the identity of her real boyfriend, Arizona Coyotes center Brad Richardson, on social media.

In January, a source told People that Foxx and Holmes were still together after almost six years. The source maintained that they “see each other as frequently as they can,” adding that “they give each other space” as well.

Tom Cruise’s ex-wife is based in New York. On the other hand, Foxx resides in Los Angeles. Despite the distance, they always try to be there for each other. But it’s a bit hard with their busy schedules.

Katie and Jamie were first romantically involved in 2013 after they were seen dancing together in the Hamptons. The two have been very secretive of their romance, but they made it more public last year.
