Katie Holmes’ Friends Believe Relationship With Jamie Foxx Is Embarrassing Actress
Even though Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s relationship may be plagued by break-up rumors, the actress has been privately standing by her rumored boyfriend’s side. However, those close to the “Dawson’s Creek” alum reportedly believe the romance is becoming embarrassing.
Following reports Holmes dumped Foxx due to her inability to get over trust issues, the actress’ rep released a statement denying the “Dawson’s Creek” alum split with the “Baby Driver” star. While the break-up rumors have been declared false, it appears the actress’ friends are unhappy the relationship has not come to an end.
“No one understands why Katie loves a man who can’t seem to commit or why he’s publicly humiliating her like this,” a source told Us Weekly.
“Everyone just wants her to take care of herself and to be happy. But she won’t let go of Jamie,” the insider explained.
Last month, a false report alleged Holmes called off the couple’s Paris wedding because she couldn’t get over Foxx’s overly friendly banter with other women. Although the stars are still together, friends of the actress believe the “Beat Shazam” host’s behavior has been unacceptable.
While Holmes isn’t blind to Foxx’s flirty personality, she is too “smitten” by his “mesmerizing and entertaining” nature to end the romance. “She has fun with him when they are together,” a source shared.
The actress was reportedly unhappy after Foxx was seen getting close to his ex, Kristin Grannis, on July 4, while Holmes was visiting Ireland with her daughter, Suri Cruise. She also wasn’t thrilled when he was photographed chatting with a few women during a trip to Miami.
Although there are times where Holmes isn’t content with her rumored boyfriend’s behavior, she doesn’t consider it a dealbreaker. “It’s a relationship that works for her,” the insider shared.
In the past, those close to the stars revealed they don’t have a typical relationship. “They don’t see themselves as a couple in the traditional sense and they don’t want to be labeled as a couple,” a source told People in May.
“They don’t want to have expectations placed on them about how they should be acting in public, how often they should be seen together and what they should or shouldn’t mean to each other.”
For now, Holmes and Foxx, who live on opposite coasts, continue their unique relationship and enjoy each other’s company whenever they are in the same place.
