Katie Holmes Sports Casual Look In Floral During Outing With Suri Cruise Amid Rumors That Daughter Wants To Become Actress

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise spent some mother-daughter time Sunday during their day out in New York City. Both Holmes and Suri wore floral outfits for their outing.

The 37-year-old actress flaunted her legs in floral shorts that she teamed up with a chambray top, according to Daily Mail. Her 10-year-old daughter sported shorts with big floral print and a white top as the she headed with her mother to the Museum of Modern Art.

Holmes went makeup free and sported a casual look with flip flops and reflective shades. The “Dawson’s Creek” star, who tied her hair up in a bun, accessorized her look with diamond pendant necklace, ring. She completed her look with Tod’s laser cut tote bag.

A recent report by OK! Magazine said that Suri’s plans to become an actress have left her mother worrying.

“Katie was worried that Suri was becoming a bit insular due to intense spotlight that's always on them, and she thought classes would help,” a source told the magazine. “Now she’s nosing around for a small role to help Suri to get her feet wet.”

“This is Katie’s worst nightmare, but she knew it was coming,” the source said. “Katie would never get in the way of Suri’s ambitions, but she’s actually a very intelligent little girl who could do anything she wanted - doctor, lawyer, anything — so it’s somewhat heartbreaking for Katie to hear Suri dream of a career on the big screen.”
