Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise Spotted In New York As Rumors About Scientologist Tom Cruise Planning ‘Exorcism’ For Daughter Resurface

As rumors about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri Cruise being possessed by “evil spirit” continue, the young girl was spotted with her mother in Manhattan Monday for a coffee run. Holmes and Suri stepped out in layered clothing on a chilly day in the city at Starbucks.

Holmes was dressed in a blue high-neck wool sweater, baggy jeans and a sand-colored trench coat, according to photos shared by Daily Mail. The 37-year-old actress went casual with a dark blue canvas hat and sported a pink leather bag. On the other hand, Suri layered herself up with a gray, round-neck jacket over a light pink cardigan and dark pink dress. She completed her look with blue leggings, white socks and white ballet flats.

According to a Radar Online report Monday, Cruise — a known Scientologist — has been brainwashed into believing that Suri is being controlled by an “evil spirit” and he is planning to have an exorcism on her.

Previously, National Enquirer carried a similar report saying that Cruise’s hope is to “clear” his daughter of the “bad” spirit and “bring her back into Scientology as an act of revenge against her mother, his ex-wife Kate Holmes.” However, the report was debunked by Gossip Cop.

Cruise’s connection to Scientology had reportedly caused rift between him and Holmes and their relationship ultimately ended up in a divorce. Holmes also reportedly feared she would lose their daughter Suri because of which she parted ways from Cruise.

The 53-year-old actor is reportedly planning to move to the 100-acre Scientology headquarters in the United Kingdom after selling his London house to spread the religion to Europe. Recent renovations at the U.K. estate are reported to be worth $16 million.
