Katie Maloney teased what's in store for fans in the new season of "Vanderpump Rules" during BravoCon 2022 Sunday.
Maloney and Tom Schwartz finalized their divorce Thursday, eight months after they called it quits following six years of marriage.
According to the reality star, there were plenty of "awkward [and] uncomfortable" on-camera moments between her and her ex-husband that fans will see play out in the upcoming "Vanderpump Rules" Season 10.
Maloney told E! News at BravoCon that the awkwardness between them affected the whole "Vanderpump Rules" cast. She claimed that she realized some of her co-stars were not "true friends."
"I felt like I didn't have a lot of people showing me a lot of empathy, let's put it that way. A lot of friends who actually weren't true friends," she said.
Season 10 will also likely explore Schwartz's rumored budding romance with their co-star Raquel Leviss, a relationship that has allegedly caused "tension" between the exes, according to E! News.
Maloney admitted that seeing her ex move on with someone new wasn't easy. However, she said they are prioritizing their friendship following their breakup.
"There wasn't any hate or animosity or anything like that," Maloney explained. "I still wanted us to maintain a level of respect for one another, so I try to keep my life and what I was doing separate and private to not hurt him with that."
Leviss, who split from James Kennedy in December 2021 after five years together, did not deny that she has a "flirty connection" with Maloney's ex-husband.
"I think he's cute. I feel like we have a little flirty, friendly connection that's lighthearted and fun," Leviss told Page Six at BravoCon Saturday.
"He's a very sweet guy, obviously, and easy to talk to," she added. "It's just very nice to have a friend in my corner."
However, Leviss isn't sure about a potential romantic relationship with Schwartz at the moment, sharing that she is still "exploring the single life and having fun with that."
Leviss and Schwartz sparked hookup rumors in April after a social media user claimed on Twitter that the pair kissed at Coachella.
The speculations were fueled by an Us Weekly report that claimed the two reality stars made out at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' wedding in August.
That same month, Schwartz acknowledged that there was potential in his relationship with Leviss that he didn't see previously.
"I was so caught up in my own little world and I was married [to Maloney]," he said on Shay's "Scheananigans" podcast. "I never took time to get to know Raquel."
