Katy Perry Appears On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' With Long Black Hair

After rocking stunning hair colors such as pink and blonde, singer Katy Perry recently appeared with long black locks on a talk show.

The 36-year-old singer appeared on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show in person and amazed the 53-year-old host with her new hair color. However, the songstress soon revealed it was a wig.

The "Smile" singer took to Instagram on Monday and teased her fans with long black locks. Perry posted two pictures of her close up and one video highlighting her long dark hair. The singer then noted in the caption that she loves to embrace those rare nights that she spends out of the house.

During her appearance on Kimmel's show, the host addressed her different hairstyles over the past couple of years, and complimented Perry by saying she looks "fantastic." Kimmel admitted every time he sees Perry it’s a surprise for him as he doesn't know what color or length her hair is going to be. Perry reacted with a smile before adding that she likes to "keep people on the edge of their seats."

In a recent interview, the singer shed light on motherhood and admitted having a baby in her life was the "best decision" she has ever made, reported ET Online. She disclosed her friends and family are supporting her to ensure her workload reduces.

The singer welcomed her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, with fiancé Orlando Bloom in August.

Perry joked about how the 44-year-old Orlando was experienced in raising a baby as he shares a 10-year-old son, Flynn, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr. The "American Idol" judge gushed over her partner and noted that he is "amazing."

"Daisy to me means pure, like, purity and 'dove' means peace, and 'bloom' kind of feels like it means joy. So [it's like] pure peace and joy," she explained the meaning of her daughter's name.

Following "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", the singer took to her Instagram story to reveal her black locks were fake and added she was continuing with her blonde short hair look. She said in the Instagram story that "everything is fake" after removing her wig.
