Katy Perry, Boyfriend Orlando Bloom Had A ‘Wild’ Night After Oscar Awards 2017, Says Singer
Katy Perry just revealed on social media that she had a blast at the Oscars 2017 and the after-party she attended with boyfriend Orlando Bloom following the awards show. The “Chained to the Rhythm” singer also poked fun at the mini-Oscar trophy she got after last Sunday night’s happenings.
On Monday, Perry took to Instagram to share a snap of a tiny Oscar the Grouch toy. The singer-songwriter joked in the caption that she just woke up and found out that she had earned her first Oscar. What’s striking about her post though is her admission that she had a “wild” night following the Oscars.
Apparently, Perry and Bloom reunited at the annual Vanity Fair Oscars after-party following more than a month of being away from each other. Perry had been preoccupied with working on her album and the release of her new single, while Bloom had several UNICEF engagements and volunteer work. Though they didn’t walk the red carpet together, the couple was spotted spending time together at the after-party.
Perry and Bloom have been dating for more than a year now, but it didn’t seem like they had much interaction at the Vanity Fair party. An insider even told People that they mostly spent the night apart mingling with their own friends. The source pointed out that the only time he saw them together was for a photo-op and nothing more.
Despite the alleged lukewarm interaction between the two, it’s clear that they still ended up spending the night together after the party. Bloom even updated his Instagram account the morning after with a photo of him and Perry’s cute pooch.
Meanwhile, it appears Perry and Bloom like to keep things about their relationship on the down low. Last Friday, Bloom attended Tommy Alastra and Ariel Vromen’s birthday and pre-Oscar party without his girlfriend. He also appeared at the Global Green pre-Oscar party last Wednesday sans the “Roar” hitmaker. In fact, their appearance at the Oscars was their first sighting together at a public event since the 2016 UNICEF Snowflake Ball back in November, according to E! News.
