We're all accustomed to the infamous "nip slip," but thanks to Katy Perry, the world is getting to see a different type of wardrobe malfunction, the butt slip, after the back of her bathing suit fell down when she was getting out of a public pool in a water park, MSN said.

MSN reported that the 27-year-old pop star was having a fun day at Raging Waters in San Dimas, Calif., when she suffered from an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction after getting out of the wave pool. As she turned around to step out of the waves, her black and white bathing suit bottom apparently didn't want to follow her.

Perry's backside was exposed to the entire pool. Unfortunately for Perry, but luckily for everyone else, a photographer was able to catch the moments on film.

Perry reportedly laughed off her booty-baring incident, even though a paparazzo was nearby to catch the money shot of her gluteus maximus.

Maybe next time she shouldn't go to such an event in an unsecure bikini, unless she likes showing off her naked posterior.

Singer John Mayer, Perry's new "make-out partner," as MSN called him, was absent from Raging Waters on the day of her swimsuit debacle, but things have allegedly been heating up for the pair.

The couple is rumored to be dating after they were caught leaving the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, where they supposedly had a dinner date, according to ABC News.

If Perry were actually dating Mayer it would be her first public relationship since the "I Kissed A Girl" singer and comedian/actor Russell Brand filed for divorce in December after being married for 14 months, the site said.

The pop star has also been rumored to be dating male model Baptiste Giabiconi and Florence And The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd.

Mayer has also been in high-profile relationships including Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift.
