Katy Perry Tweets About Adoption Following False Pregnancy Rumors; Orlando Bloom’s Girlfriend Desperate To Start A Family?

Is Katy Perry secretly longing to be a mother? After rumors that she could be carrying the baby of Orlando Bloom turned out to be false, the “Roar” singer took to Twitter to say that she wants to adopt a boy in a viral video.

On Tuesday, Perry shared on Twitter the viral clip of a boy dancing to Mr. Hotspot’s “My Friends (We Get Turnt Up).” The video has been circulating on the social networking platform ever since Disney Channel actress Skai Jackson tweeted about it and accompanied the comical dance with a witty caption: “When you realize Christmas is only 20 days away.”

Based on the comments on Jackson’s post, many find the execution of the still unknown boy’s dance steps hilarious. Many are also intrigued about the boy’s identity. Despite not knowing anything about the boy, Perry expressed in her tweet that she wants to “adopt him.”

It isn’t clear if Perry only intended her tweet to be a compliment to the boy or if she’s hinting at her desire to adopt now that she’s rumored to be engaged to Bloom, her boyfriend of 11 months.

In late November, the “Dark Horse” hitmaker was spotted wearing a huge oval cut yellow diamond ring on her left ring finger as she walked with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor in New York City. An eyewitness told ET at the time that the couple “seemed proud to show off their happiness” that night.

Following the engagement rumors, Perry quickly made headlines after her beau displayed a strange gesture while they were in attendance at UNICEF’s Snowflake Ball. According to Page Six, many were caught off guard when Bloom was captured by the giant screen at the event putting his hand on Perry’s belly and rubbing it in a circular motion.

Spectators who saw the gesture quickly inferred that Perry could already be pregnant. However, Perry’s rep slammed such speculations by telling the media that there is no truth to the rumors because it was a simple affectionate gesture between the couple.
