Katy Perry is leading the nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), getting into as many as nine categories. E.T, her big budget spectacle featuring Kanye West, 'E.T', is up for four awards, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects. An apparently surprised Katy reacted to the VMA Nominations news, Nine? I thought that was a typo or something! Oh my God, really? That's the most nominations I've ever gotten for anything.
