Is ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Canceled? Kim Flees To Los Angeles After Armed Robbery
It’s a wrap? “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” might have come to an end after the reality show’s lead star, Kim Kardashian, was robbed at a Paris hotel Monday. The fashionista and reality star was reportedly shaken by the attack and went silent on social media. Now, the mother-of-two wants to end her reign as the queen of reality television.
Filming is “on hold indefinitely,” an insider told Us Weekly in an exclusive report Thursday. Footage has not been shot since the theft and no one in the family has talked about the attack on camera.
After spending four days in New York City, Kardashian returned home to Los Angeles with her daughter, North, 3, and son, Saint, 10 months. “They had several security guards with them and only had two SUVs to take them to the airport,” a source told Us Weekly. A second insider added: “They are flying private [to L.A.]”
Not only has Kardashian gone silent on social media, she also canceled all her appearances. She was slated to do a makeup masterclass in Dubai days after the $11 million heist, when she was gagged and handcuffed, but backed out of the engagement the day before. She had her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic release a statement about the gig Wednesday.
"We understand the inconvenience that this has caused you. You will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, or we can hold the ticket for the rescheduled date. Rescheduling details will be sent out within the week,” Dedivanovic said. “We deeply and sincerely apologize from the bottom of our hearts. We truly hope you all understand the decision we had to make and look forward to our upcoming class. We will update you via email and TheMasterClass.com.”
Kardashian, 35, might not be in the public eye for months. “She has canceled everything for the next several weeks and will not be working,” another source told Us Weekly. “She feels safer in L.A. and wants to be home with her family.”
