Kelly Clarkson and ex-husband Brandon Blackstock have reached an agreement regarding their embattled Montana ranch.
The 39-year-old singer agreed to give the 45-year-old talent manager 5.12% percent of the ranch, which equals $908,800 of its total $17,750,000 value, according to new court documents obtained by People.
Blackstock does not have any ownership interest in the property adjoining the ranch that the "Stronger" hitmaker solely owns, according to the documents.
Clarkson was awarded ownership of the ranch in October last year. However, two months later, she had lost a legal fight to have Blackstock evicted from the property, Us Weekly reported.
The singer had wanted to sell the property because it was a "financial burden" and the cost of maintaining it could run up to $81,000 per month. However, Blackstock argued in court documents in August 2021 that he plans to use it for his new career as a rodeo manager.
Clarkson was officially declared single in August 2021 when a judge signed off on a legal dissolution of her marriage to Blackstock a year and three months after she filed for divorce.
The judge granted the "American Idol" winner primary physical custody in November 2021 of their children River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5.
Prior to their split, Clarkson revealed the property in a digital episode of her eponymous show. She spoke about the things they loved about the ranch and why she purchased it.
"Brandon and I love wide open spaces and coming to the ranch because both of us grew up in the countryside and we literally work almost seven days a week, if not seven days a week," she said. "So, when we have time off we really like to check it out and it’s nice to get into nature. As a society, we don’t do it enough."
She added, "We’re always working constantly, so it’s nice to just come out here and sit by the stream and hear the water flowing and be around all the trees. I just love the sound of just nature and not cars and not people on top of each other."
