Kelly Clarkson's Outfit On ‘The Voice’ Gets Slammed On Twitter

Tuesday’s episode of “The Voice” was supposed to focus on the reveal of the Top 10 contestants but instead, Twitter focused on Kelly Clarkson. Clarkson wore a bright red dress with a black long-sleeve shirt underneath. She paired this with black leggings and mid-calf black boots.

Clarkson was styled by Candice Lambert McAndrews, a retired lieutenant of the US Coast Guard. Her dress was made by Alex Perry, an Australian fashion designer, and her shirt, shoes and jewelry were all Yves Saint Laurent.

Twitter exploded after seeing Clarkson’s outfit, ripping the singer for her style choices.

“@NBCTheVoice @kellyclarkson I HOPE KELLY DOESN’T PAY HER STYLIST A LOT OF MONEY! HER OUTFITS ARE HORRIBLE,” someone tweeted.

“@kellyclarkson #VoiceTop10 thumbs down on this outfit. Doesn’t work with black shirt. Looks like the dress showed too much skin so wardrobe threw a shirt in the mix. A jacket or shawl would’ve looked much better,” someone else added.

“Really enjoying this season of #TheVoice & I adore @kellyclarkson but please get her another stylist ASAP. Too many of those outfits make her look undignified. I’m not trying to be mean,” one other person said.

But, not everyone was on Twitter to make fun of the singer. There were also tweets that defended Clarkson and her outfit.

“@kellyclarkson I really love that outfit you’re wearing tonight on @NBCTheVoice, that’s a beautiful black dress and it looks amazing on you! Very stylish!” someone tweeted defending her.

“@kellyclarkson girl you are smart, sweet, funny and just so real. Huge huge fan. I want everyone to hear what you have to say instead of commenting on your outfits. You are truly a beautiful human so you keep rocking whatever you want to rock,” another person added.

“@kellyclarkson #VoiceTop10 love your outfit you look absolutely beautiful in a Christmas way,” someone else said.
