Could Kelly Osbourne and Christina Aguilera be headed toward a reconciliation?
The reality television star and singer have had a nasty ongoing feud since the early 2000s that includes name-calling and weight jibes. The tension was quite visible during the 2003 MTV Europe Music Awards, where they exchanged verbal jabs on and off the red carpet (Aguilera hosted the show), MTV reported. Just last year, Osbourne slammed Aguilera for the latter woman's weight gain, calling her a fat b**tch.
But Osbourne had some kind words for the pop singer while appearing on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live show. He asked the Fashion Police commentator to say three nice things about The Voice judge, Us Weekly reported.
I think she's looking way better right now, she's got a great voice and she's got a beautiful son, Osbourne told Cohen without hesitation.
We have yet to see whether Aguilera will accept Osbourne's comments as a mea culpa -- and whether Osbourne is, in fact, hoping for anything resembling a reconciliation -- but it seems like a sign of kinder, more mature times to come. Osbourne and Aguilera wouldn't be the first celebs to fight and make up publicly. Here are other famous people who had some very famous spats and later buried the hatchet. Could Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre be next?
