Kelly Ripa is in her best shape mentally and physically, according to an insider. The TV host just celebrated her 50th birthday on Oct. 2.
"Kelly has never been happier," a source told Us Weekly.
"She is in the best physical and mental shape of her life."
Ripa had a double celebration on Friday. The Emmy award winner commemorated the success of her show in an intimate gathering. It also served as her birthday party because she turned 50 years old on the same day.
"There was a small birthday celebration at the show and also a celebrating for the amazing ratings," the insider added.
"For the first time in years, the show beat Dr. Phil to the number one slot during premiere week. To be working on a show this time and to still be finding a new audience is amazing.”
The "Live with Kelly and Ryan" host was also proud and thankful for her three children she shares with husband Mark Consuelos, Michael, 23, Lola, 19, and Joaquin, 17. All of them have grown up to be wonderful people and their family "have never been in a better place," the tipster added.
Ripa gave her fans a glimpse of her birthday celebration by sharing snaps on Instagram.
“Thank you! Yes you, and everyone who made me feel so loved. I am 50. There. I said it #birthday #50,” she wrote in the caption.
Ripa's husband also shared a sweet tribute for her on her birthday. He shared three adorable pictures of Ripa on social media.
"Happy birthday to my little ray of sunshine I love you, sexy," he wrote on Instagram.
Ripa also received a sweet message from Oprah Winfrey on her special day.
"Kelly, happy birthday! 50—wow! I am sending you the best of wishes as you come into—I'm telling you—the most incredible decade of your life," Winfrey said.
Winfrey also reminded Ripa that "the 50s are everything you've been meaning to be." She also invited Ripa for lunch in her garden in Santa Barbara when the global health crisis is over, so they can "toast surviving a pandemic and raise a glass to your 50th birthday."
