Kelsey Grammer's Tattoo: Will He Regret It? [PHOTO]
Kelsey Grammer might one day regret his decision to tattoo his fourth wife's name on his hip just 14 months into their marriage.
Grammer, 57, has been married to wife No. 4, Kayte Walsh, 32, for 14 months.
Getting a tattoo with your wife's name is a risk when you've been though four marriages, according to a Christine Darbo, a 72-year-old grandmother who chatted with Grammer and Walsh inside Chicago tattoo parlor Insight Studios over the weekend. Darbo's grandson was the tattoo artist who inked Kayte on Grammer's hip.
I figured with his background he should just put a 'K' with a period to give him some flexibility, she told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Her grandson, James Eastwood, said Grammer settled on a design in blue ink with 1 /2 inch letters that spelled out Kayte.
Grammer is best known for his role as Frasier Crane from Cheers, which led to the highly successful spinoff, Frasier. Grammer is now the star of the Starz series Boss.
Grammer did a lot of research before deciding to get his first tattoo, according to Insight Studios owner Bob Jones.
He was pretty cool about it, Jones told the Sun-Times. He said it was his first tattoo and he did some research and said, 'You guys seemed to be the best place to go.'
The ink used for the Kayte tattoo cost only $60, according to TMZ.
Grammer had a nasty divorce from third wife Camille Donatacci, a former Playboy model who starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Grammer married Walsh, who is expecting twins, just two weeks after the divorce settlement.
