Kendall Jenner Designs Custom Eye Shadow Palette For Estee Lauder [Video]
Kendall Jenner has designed an eyeshadow palette for Estee Lauder. The model who is the face of the beauty brand has already created a lipstick for it. As a model who walks the ramp for a host of designers and fashion houses, she is taking her expertise of make-up to the next level and created an eyeshadow palette for the brand’s new line The Estee Edit.
The Kendall J Palette features an assortment of playful matte and shimmer shades. The 14 shades have been hand-picked by the 20-year-old. There are a number of very wearable neutral colors.
Kendall’s favorite shade of purple and a smoky gray-black in sparkly hues were created with black light technology for a glow-in-the-dark effect. “I’m really particular when it comes to eye shadow, so creating [the palette] and to make it my own was fun. I don’t really love wearing too much makeup,” said Kendall.
She added that there were a few brown colors and since she wanted to appeal to everyone she added a black. And because the supermodel loves purple, she created a shade with it. The Kendall J Palette is priced at $48.
The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder, an 82-piece collection, hit Sephora stores Tuesday. The price of the products range from as low as $15 to $50. Earlier, the supermodel designed a lipstick for the beauty giant.
Kendall is following the footsteps of little sister Kylie who designed her own Lip Kit. The sisters launched their clothing and footwear collection in February. Their new spring/summer 2016 range is called the Kendall + Kylie collection.
Kendall and Kylie have earlier collaborated with PacSun and Topshop for clothing lines. But, for Kendall, she is still getting a hang of the beauty world.
The model who sashayed down the Victoria’s Secret catwalk in November said that she would like to do more lipsticks and maybe create a good bronzer and mascara.
