Kendall Jenner sets the record straight about the photo of her holding a “Black Lives Matter” sign.

A photo of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star wearing a black see-through top with matching jeans, white shoes, and a black mask while raising a sign that read “Black Lives Matter” is making rounds online. Many people called her out for allegedly editing the snap. However, Jenner denied that she was the one who photoshopped it.

“This is photoshopped by someone. i DID NOT post this,” Jenner wrote.

The photo was criticized because it’s obviously edited. Jenner’s shadow shows that she is actually not holding any sign.

Several defended the reality star and model because she didn’t post the photo herself. Someone just edited it and shared it online.

“Lol, that's not her official account, u should check things first before throwin shade, smh,” one commented.

“Bro this ain’t even her account y’all be quick to jump into hating,” @yewav1 added.

“It was edited and posted by a fan she didn’t do it lmao,” @endotobin wrote.

“You have a HUGE platform here. yet youre using an edited photo of Kendall (its not even her doing) to create a ...what? you want attention? clout? followers?” another netizen wrote, questioning tech influencer Andru Edwards who shared the photo.

“You would think a tech influencer would be smart enough to realize she didn’t even make this lol,” a different online user added.

Although Jenner has not attended any protest, she supports the Black Live Matter movement. A week ago, she posted a lengthy message on Instagram following George Floyd’s death.

“I’ve been doing a lot of thinking these past few days and my heart has been so heavy. I’m angry and hurt just like so many,” she wrote.

“This is a time to have those uncomfortable conversations with people and mainly with ourselves. we must also make sure we are ready to vote when the time comes to elect the right people into office. the one truth that will always ring loudest is that BLACK LIVES MATTER.”
