Kendall Jenner Rocks Goth Goddess Look For Marc Jacobs' Fall Campaign

Kendall Jenner has transformed into a goth goddess for Marc Jacobs’ latest Fall campaign.

The reality star is just one of the celebrities who posed for Jacobs’ ad campaign titled “The Goth.” Some of Jenner’s fans may also be shocked when they see the supermodel’s goth transformation, Teen Vogue reported. In a picture posted on the designer’s Instagram page, Jenner wore an all black ensemble as she posed against a dark background.

Jenner completed her goth-like appearance with black platform boots, black stockings and a teased up curly hairstyle. She also wore smoky eye makeup that gave the TV personality a mysterious look. Jacobs’ fall campaign photoshoot was handled by David Sims and Katie Grand.

The famed fashion designer also complimented Jenner in a long message included in his Instagram post. He described the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star as a “sweet” and “kind” person who is an “ultimate professional.” Jacobs also recounted the first time he met Jenner in his message.

The designer recalled meeting Jenner when they were looking for models to join Jacobs’ Fall 2014 fashion show. The said show marked the first time that Jenner walked a runway for a big fashion event. Jacobs also mentioned how the model has become a part of his fashion shows. The oldest among the Jenner sisters was one of the models who participated in the famed designer’s Spring 2015 ad campaign. “It goes without saying that Kendall has gone on to establish an incredible career for herself and every bit of it is a testament to her hard work, passion and desire,” Jacobs added.

He also shared how Jenner was able to handle walking around in the high platform boots that the model wore for Jacobs’ latest Fall campaign. The designer stated that the reality star succeeded in the said challenge and even appeared to be walking around in running shoes instead of the boots. He even described her as “statuesque” and “confident.”

Jacobs also applauded Jenner’s ability to “effortlessly transform into a look and character.” He commented that he found the model’s said characteristic as “so appealing and inspiring.”

Meanwhile, MTV has compared Jenner’s goth goddess look to British actress Helena Bonham Carter. Fans may recall Carter playing the red queen in the “Alice in Wonderland” movie franchise. She also portrayed the character Bellatrix Lestrange in several “Harry Potter” movies.

The actress has also been known to sport a curly hairstyle that is reminiscent of Jenner’s own style for Jacobs’ ad campaign. A side by side photo of Jenner and Carter that displayed the two celebrities’ curly hair was also included in the report.
