Kendall Jenner Spends Time With Rob Kardashian’s Ex Rita Ora During Cannes Film Festival

Kendall Jenner isn’t letting her brother’s bitter break up in 2012 stand in her way. The 19-year-old appears to have found a friend in brother Rob Kardashian’s ex-girlfriend, Rita Ora.

Jenner and Ora were spotted smiling and sharing a few secrets during the 2015 amfAR gala in Cannes Thursday evening. Photographers caught the two famous beauties sharing a few laughs while catching up during the event. The new gal pals stunned during the gala, which is a part of the Cannes Film Festival. Ora arrived wearing a ruched red gown while Jenner chose to show some more skin in a purple two-piece Calvin Klein ensemble.

Jenner’s family has a history of beef with Ora. Following her split from Rob, sister Khloé Kardashian spoke out about his “weird relationship” on "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami," saying Ora did not allow him to tell people they were together. Khloé said the singer “wanted to present herself to the world as a single girl.” In September 2014, Kim Kardashian reportedly refused to be seated next to Ora at the MTV Movie Awards.

Rob dated Ora in 2012. They were together for about a year, though the “Black Widow” singer denied the romantic relationship ever happened in December 2012. Ora claimed it could never work because she “was like a ghost,” referring to her busy schedule. Following her comments, the sock designer took to Twitter to attack his ex, saying she cheated on him with “like 20 dudes.” He later apologized for his outburst, claiming he wrote those things “to keep myself from taking her back.”

Rob went on to blame his former love interest for his severe weight gain. During his sister's spinoff reality show the 28-year-old said the relationship caused him to “waste a lot of money and gain 40 pounds.”

Ora has since moved on and is now dating Tommy Hilfiger’s son Rocky Hill.
