Kendall + Kylie Vintage Shirts Spark Uproar On Social Media: Find Out Why

The products from Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s fashion line, Kendall + Kylie, are often well-received by fans and get sold out immediately. But their latest release, vintage shirts featuring rock bands, sparked an entirely different reaction.

Netizens lambasted the TV personalities on social media for putting their faces on the shirts, which are priced at $125 each, according to Global News. The vintage tees are described as “one of a kind, perfectly worn vintage tee shirts,” which is probably why they edited classical images and photoshopped their own pictures. But a lot of people, particularly rock band enthusiasts, did not appreciate their designs.

As far as fashion icons and influences go, the sisters actually look up to different people. During an interview with W Magazine, Kendall revealed that she likes clothes that are “simple, clean, and tailored,” whereas Kylie wears whatever she feels like donning at the moment. Kendall considers Audrey Hepburn as her style icon, but Kylie looks up to their mom, Kris Jenner.

But there is one thing both sisters agree on: there’s not one trend they would say no to. When asked about the thing they would never wear, Kendall answered, “I wouldn’t ever say ‘never.’ There’s always a way to take a trend and make it more polished and refined.”

Her sister agreed, saying, “I love to take risks.”

The two also agree that sunglasses can really elevate an outfit, so they also have a few designs for Kendall + Kylie. Kylie told People Style that she personally has too many sunglasses to keep track of or count, but she’s certain she has the perfect pair that would match any outfit. As for Kendall, she said she loses sunglasses more often that she would like to admit, so having sunglasses that are both gorgeous and affordable is important for her.

However, if the two had to choose just one pair from their entire collection that would fit anybody’s lifestyle, Kendall recommends their Jules frames. “Just one pair? That’s almost impossible, but aviators are a must in any sunglasses collection. Our Jules frames are a cool take on that classic style,” she said.

On the other hand, Kylie suggests a statement pair like their Priscilla Smoke-Tone sunglasses. “I don’t think you should play it safe,” she explained.
