Kendra Wilkinson, Hank Baskett Back Together After Cheating Scandal; Former Playmate Rocks New Wedding Ring
Just days after announcing their plans to appear on an upcoming season of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars,” it appears Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett have made amends. Wilkinson was recently spotted at the red carpet premiere of “Dead Rising: Watchtower,” with her man by her side and a massive rock on her finger.
The new ring, which is larger than the original, according to Us Weekly, features a yellow diamond and is a symbol of more than just their commitment to one another. Baskett reportedly said the diamond's color symbolizes friendship. Us Weekly is reporting the former NFL star offered his wife the ring during the “Marriage Boot Camp” season finale. Wilkinson has not been wearing a wedding band since Baskett confirmed cheating rumors. She reportedly flushed the original down a toilet.
Although it is clear she accepted the ring, Us Weekly claims her acceptance was conditional. Wilkinson allegedly told her hubby she would take the new ring if (and only if) he was honest with her about his alleged infidelity. The pair, who have been out of the spotlight for quite awhile, spent some time apart after a cheating scandal that broke in in April 2014 rocked their marriage. Reports surfaced suggesting Baskett had been involved in a sexual relationship outside his marriage while Kendra was eight months pregnant with their second child.
According to People, it was a call from her agent that first alerted Wilkinson that her husband may have cheated on her. Rumors had surfaced suggesting that Baskett had been intimate with a transgender model by the name of Ava Sabrina London. At the time, little was known about the alleged affair aside from what London told the media. Wilkinson immediately confronted Baskett about the claims, which he denied. He eventually admitted to being unfaithful, but spared his wife a majority of the details.
According to Radar Online, Baskett and London became intimate after he reached out to her on a YouTube video she posted. London claims the affair took place in her Northern California home shortly after their first in-person introduction; she also said Baskett, who allegedly identified himself only as "Steve," told her she was the first transgender person he had ever been with. Previews for the upcoming season of “Marriage Boot Camp” show Wilkinson breaking down on several occasions, as more and more information surfaces regarding her husband's affair.
Wilkinson went public about Baskett's infidelity on their reality show, “Kendra on Top,” in November 2014. The mother of two kicked her husband out of their home and threatened to file for divorce shortly after the news broke, she revealed in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. She told the magazine a friend talked her out of filing.
