Kendra Wilkinson Hospital: 'Girls Next Door' Star Hospitalized After Car Accident
Popular reality television star Kendra Wilkinson had to be rushed to the hospital after a severe car accident on Sunday.
Wilkinson, a former Playboy playmate and star of “The Girls Next Door,” was seen entering the Providence Tarzana Medical Center after a car accident in Los Angeles’ Tarzana neighborhood, Us Weekly reports. A source close to Wilkinson claims that the reality star was "in shock" and "really sore" after the accident.
While doctors are closely examining Wilkinson for any broken bones, her injuries are not believed to be serious, Us Weekly reports.
"She was taken in earlier," a second source told Us Weekly, regarding Wilkinson. "She was discharged already."
Representatives of the former “Splash” star have yet to comment on the accident.
Ironically, Wilkinson chose to drop out of ABC’s “Splash” diving competition in April due to her fear of suffering an injury. "I'm so sorry, everybody. It's bittersweet. One thing I don't do is quit. This is the first time in my life I've quit something," she said. "This will haunt me for the rest of my life."
