Kendra Wilkinson Reportedly Told Mother Patti 'I Hope You Die'
Remember Kendra Wilkinson, that bubbly and seemingly carefree blonde beauty from VH1’s “The Girls Next Door?” The former Playmate is all grown-up with a husband and two children, but the reality star is anything but carefree these days. Apparently, she’s in the middle of a major feud with her mother, Patti, who has appeared on TV with her daughter in the past.
It’s not clear what happened to break up their mother-daughter bond, but Patti hasn’t even met her granddaughter Alijah, who was born last month. In an interview with Radar Online, she talked about their fractured relationship and how long it’s been since she spoke to the 28-year-old daughter.
“I have not met Kendra’s new baby yet. I was not a part of the pregnancy or the birth in any way, so I have not seen nor heard from Kendra,” Patti told the news site about Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend and roommate.
The last thing Kendra reportedly told her mother was, “I hope you die.” The two haven’t spoken since Oct. 17, 2013. Patti was naturally upset by their last conversation. “It was really hard to take,” she said. “It dug really deep.”
But it was not unprecedented. “We’ve had a very strained relationship for the last four or five years,” Patti said.
Their last conversation reportedly took place after Patti posted on Facebook that she had heard through Kendra’s fans she was pregnant again. The former Playmate was upset with her mother for talking about her on social media and “ripped” into her, asking “What are you writing on Facebook?”
Patti finished the interview by saying she essentially wants to repair her relationship with her estranged daughter, but as The Stir pointed out, if Patti wants to fix things, giving an interview to Radar probably isn’t the best way to do it.
Kendra’s rep did not respond to request for comment, Radar Online said.
