Kevin Durant is unlikely to step on the court throughout the 2019-20 NBA season, but he's already making headlines before tip-off. Recently, the former Golden State Warrior joined his former teammate and Finals rival Serge Ibaka on his show.

The two seems to be good friends off the court, and Ibaka even cooked Durant a serving of a snake dish. If you have been absent the last few years, the term has been haunting the 2-time finals MVP when he chose to leave OKC for the Warriors in 2016.

Durant was the guest for the debut episode of Serge's show "How Hungry Are You? Aside from the apparent snake situation (which according to Ibaka was to support his friend), the Toronto forward cracked an interesting question during the start of his unusual eats segment.

Ibaka's first question was made for the headlines: "Who is a better player, Stephen Curry or Russell Westbrook?" Durant, without any hesitation, picked the Golden State point guard over "Brodie," whom he played with in OKC for eight NBA seasons.

When Serge doubled up with why he felt that way, Kevin's answer was direct: "Because he can shoot better." The revelation might put Durant in another villain role, at least for loyal Westbrook fans and the OKC fanbase that "literally" hates the two-time champ.

Durant joined Brooklyn this season after Ibaka and the rest of the Raptors dismantled them during the 2018-2019 NBA Finals. Mr. Fun Guy Kawhi Leonard has also moved to the Clippers, but at least he's still adored by people in Canada.

Meanwhile, Durant will be on rehab after tearing his Achilles while he was guarded by none other than Serge Ibaka in Game 5 of the finals. The NBA regular-season games are starting soon, Kevin will evidently be stating more of his thoughts midway of the competition, stay tuned.
