Kevin Hart Update: Comedian Praises Pregnant Wife, Marriage After Cheating Scandal
Following a cheating scandal, Kevin Hart and his pregnant wife Eniko Parrish seem to be going strong as they await the arrival of their baby boy. Although the model has yet to publicly address her husband’s infidelity which resulted in an extortion plot, the comedian shared an update on the couple’s relationship.
On Wednesday, the “Ride Along” actor posted a photo of his wife caressing her baby bump and praised her for giving their marriage a chance. “Thanking God for this beautiful strong woman that I am lucky enough to still be calling my wife today. You are truly amazing....Love you,” he wrote while noting that she is his “Woman Crush Wednesday” and his “Woman Crush Everyday” by using hashtags.
Hart went on to encourage those who are not happy with him to share their negative thoughts about his situation in his comment section because he is strong enough to handle it. “I hope your negativity makes your day better. Love ya,” he wrote, ending his caption for the photo.
In September, Hart issued an apology to his wife and kids follow reports that he was being extorted by an individual who possess a 4 minute and 47 second “sexually provocative” video of the comedian alongside a woman named Montia Sabagg.
In video, the “Get Hard” actor is seen relaxing on a couch laying on Sabagg with his hand on her thigh, according to TMZ. Two people who appear to be Hart and Sabbag are later seen in the bedroom and walking around.
In his Instagram apology video, Hart admitted that he made a huge mistake. “I’m at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back and because of that I should make smart decisions. And recently, I didn’t,” the star said.
“I made a bad error in judgment and I put myself in an environment where only bad things can happen and they did,” he confessed. “At the end of the day, man, I just simply have got to do better.”
However, Hart was determined not to let the unidentified individual hold his indiscretions over him. The star explained that he was not “going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that’s what was attempted and I said I rather fess up to my mistakes.”
Hart captioned the video by apologizing to his family again. “Sending so many apologies to my wife & kids. I gotta do better and I will. I’m not perfect and have never claimed to be ...I love you all,” he wrote.
A source told People that Parrish is still struggling to deal with all the media attention surrounding her husband’s cheating scandal. “She has been hounded by the press, and is very upset,” the insider said.
“She is trying to stay healthy and enjoy her pregnancy, but the latest drama is too much,” the source added.
For the time being, it looks like the couple is doing their best to work through their problems for the sake of their family.
