  • As social media influencers, they should raise awareness

Enough is enough!

Khloe Kardashian, sister of Kim, Kylie and Kendall Jenner finally reacted and defended her sisters against the backlash from netizens for their social media posts after the news about the Australian bushfire broke.

This entire fiasco involving the Kardashian and Jenner sisters stemmed from series of social media posts about the incident and climate change. Kim, unfortunately, received a response from a Twitter user —whose tweet is now deleted— stating that the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change wildfires but didn’t donate even a penny, Cosmopolitan reported.

To show some support to her older sister, the same was re-retweeted by the younger Kardashian with a caption quoting the Modern King James Version.

Kardashian did not stop there. She further stated that they often bring attention to causes and ways people can donate. She considered it as her job to bring awareness to the table with an aim to help others.

She added that they, could be referring to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, post or speak about organizations or websites whose advocacy is to help save the planet.

Wait, there’s more.

Kardashian said that good deeds should be done with intention not for attention. She added that they were blessed to able to bless others, and they didn’t have to brag about it.

There were several tweets pointing out that the Kardashians and Jenners love attention, publicizing even the most private things; hence, people expected highly from them. Who wouldn’t?

Kylie Jenner alone already has a net worth of $1 billion. Apparently, the youngest make-up mogul reportedly received the most backlash for being “disconnected.” In the report of News.Com.Au, Jenner posted a photo of the koala with the firefighter, and captioned it with how may animals were killed and how the incident broke her heart. A few moments later, Kardashian posted a Louis Vuitton mink fur slippers amounting to $1,450.

Kendall Jenner already has a net worth of millions, as well as Kim and Khloe. With that huge sum of money, people were expecting them to share some financial aid.

Unlike other Hollywood celebrities, like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban who reportedly donated $500,000, there wasn’t any official confirmation whether the Kardashians and Jenners had donated anything to support Australia.
