Khloe Kardashian Allowing Tristan Thompson To Be Part Of Their Kids' Lives After Split: Report

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting their children, a report says.

Kardashian and Thompson welcomed their second child, a now-3-month-old baby boy, earlier this year following the NBA player's paternity scandal. They are also parents to a 4-year-old daughter, True.

But though they are no longer together, Thompson will still be a key figure in their children's lives.

"He wants to be present and spend time with the kids, and of course, Khloé is allowing him to be present in both of the kids' life [sic]," an anonymous insider told Us Weekly.

The source added that there is "no question" about Thompson's involvement.

"He wants to be part of the baby's life, and she wants him to be," the tipster said of the exes. When he's there, he's a good loving dad. He's not there all the time though as Khloé primarily has custody."

In addition to his two children with the 38-year-old reality star, Thompson also shares 5-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig and 10-month-old son Theo with Maralee Nichols.

In September, Kardashian revealed in an episode of "The Kardashians" that she did not accept Thompson's proposal in late 2019 due to lingering concerns about his infidelity.

But following the episode, an anonymous source told People that Thompson proposed for a second time in February 2021, and this time, Kardashian said yes. They were secretly engaged for nine months, during which they planned to conceive a second child together.

They finally conceived their second child via surrogate in the final weeks of 2021 when news broke that Thompson had fathered a baby with another woman, Nichols, while he was in a relationship with Kardashian.

In her paternity lawsuit against the NBA player, Nichols claimed that she and Thompson had sex on his 30th birthday. She welcomed their baby boy in December last year.

At that point, Kardashian called off her secret engagement to the athlete, according to People.

Thompson initially denied that he was the father of Nichols' baby. However, a paternity test later showed that he fathered the child.

"Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols," Thompson wrote in a statement in January. "I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately."

In a subsequent post, he tagged Kardashian and wrote, "You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
