Khloé Kardashian Calls Boyfriend Tristan Thompson Her 'Best Friend' In Sweet Birthday Tribute

Khloé Kardashian made her relationship with Tristan Thompson Instagram official again by posting a sweet message for his 30th birthday on Saturday.

Kardashian and the Boston Celtics player broke up in 2019 while she was pregnant following his cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods. It was then reported last year that they got back together during quarantine, though the reality star had not confirmed it. Her latest Instagram post celebrating Thompson, however, appears to confirm that they have rekindled their romance.

In the loving message, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star called Thompson her "best friend" and praised his relationship with their 2-year-old daughter True.

"The ones that are meant to be are the one who go through everything that is designed to tear them apart and they come out even stronger than they were before," Kardashian wrote on Instagram.

"Thank you for showing me everything you said you would," she continued. "For the father you are. For the best friend I have in you. I'm thankful that I can do absolutely nothing with you and it feels like everything. I hope you know today and everyday how loved you are by me and so many. Happy birthday TT! Welcome to 30!"

Kardashian concluded her message by saying she is looking forward to making new memories with Thompson and their only child because "this is when life just starts getting good!"

Kardashian also posted several family photos alongside her sweet note. In one picture, Thompson wraps an arm around her while she holds their daughter's hand. In another snap, the couple strikes a pose sans True.

Her post received positive messages from fans and lots of love from Thompson.

"I LOVE YOU SOO MUCH KOKO," Thompson commented, along with a heart emoji. "let’s keep building amazing memories!!!"

"Forgiveness is everything. Moving forward together and growing together is beautiful. Happy for you," another wrote.

"The most beautiful family!!!!" Andrew Fitzsimons commented.

"love u. Beautiful !!!" Loren Ridinger added.

In a previous episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kardashian told her best friend Malika Haqq that although she and Thompson were living in the same house, they didn't sleep together.

At the time, Kardashian couldn't make up her mind about reconciling with the NBA player despite apparently seeing how Thompson had changed for the better. Her pal told her maybe she was blocking her feelings "because it's safe" and that she was not "open to being loved" again.

"I have every reason to have these bricks up and layers and if somebody cares enough, they will take those bricks down brick by brick," Kardashian said at the time.
