Khloe Kardashian Has No ‘Timeframe’ To Marry Boyfriend Tristan Thompson, Have Kids

Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about her relationship with her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, and revealed whether or not she is ready to tie the knot again.

While speaking with the Daily Mail’s You magazine on Sunday, the 33-year-old reality TV star said that even though she wants to get married again someday, she doesn’t have an exact timeframe for it. “I’m in the best relationship I’ve ever been in and it doesn’t take a ring for me to feel that way. I believe in marriage and I want to be married again one day but I don’t have a timeframe. Why do people think that marriage equates to happiness? There are a lot of people in unhealthy marriages,” she said.

Kardashian was previously married to NBA star Lamar Odom and was with the athlete for four years. In 2013, the reality TV star filed for divorce from Odom for the first time, according to E! News.

Meanwhile, Kardashian and Thompson have been together for a year. According to the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, another great thing about their relationship is the fact that they share the same beliefs and morals as Christians. Additionally, Thompson is also very protective of her.

“Feeling loved and validated and secure is a huge thing. Tristan is protective of my entire family, which is beautiful. And I love that everything we do is a union. When he speaks, it’s ‘us’ and ‘we,’ and that’s important because it shows that you’re sharing life. The best thing is that we’re able to communicate about anything, and I think a lot of relationships don’t flourish because people are afraid to voice their opinion, not wanting to rock the boat,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kardashian also said that she’s not in a hurry to have children. Thompson, who is a father to his 8-month-old son, Prince, is not in a rush either. According to Kris Jenner’s third daughter, Thompson wants more children, but they both believe that it will happen when the time is right. “We’re still in a new relationship and I love us having time together,” she said.
