Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom Go On Secret Getaway To Save Marriage Amid Cheating Allegations, Source Says

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are reportedly trying to save their marriage after taking a secret getaway this summer. Earlier this month, a woman named Jennifer Richardson told Star magazine that she had had a tryst with the Los Angeles Clippers player after meeting him at a strip club in Dallas in January 2012, when he was playing for the Dallas Mavericks.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, 29, and her husband of two years were "barely speaking” at the time they left on the trip, but when they got into the swing of things, “there were lots of kisses and tears,” a family insider told Us Weekly. During the getaway, they were able to focus on one another and their relationship.

Though it is unclear whether or not Odom, 33, actually cheated, sources say the marriage has been challenging recently because of constant media attention on the Kardashian clan and Odom’s NBA career. The 6-foot-10-inch pro athlete was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers in late 2011, leading to “mood swings and depression,” a source said. He now plays for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Richardson told Star that she often traveled with the former Mavericks player to road games and they would sleep together before he returned to Los Angeles. He even told her he loved her on a number of occasions, she claims.

The alleged mistress also says she ended the affair in March because she did not want to be a secret anymore. In her interview, she apologized for the yearlong affair, and even stated she did not know Odom’s marriage was “real.”

Kardashian has stayed by Odom’s side and has not spoken publicly about the alleged affair. Instead, last week, the reality star posted an intimate photo of herself alongside Odom as he kisses her cheek.
