Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom Seen For First Time Together in 129 Days After Kris Jenner Announces Split [PHOTO]
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been seen together for the first time in 129 days. They showed a united public front after Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, and her husband, Bruce Jenner, announced their separation following 22 years of marriage.
Paparazzi snapped pictures of the couple driving to Kris Jenner’s home in Calabasas, Calif.
“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” Kris and Bruce Jenner told E! News.
“But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”
It's unclear if Kardashian, 29, and Odom, 33, plan to get back together following allegations that he cheated on her and engaged in illicit drug use. While Kardashian has remained silent and continues to wear her wedding ring, she has been using social media to some extent to express her feelings. Last week on Instagram she posted a cryptic message, “I can’t explain and I won’t even try.”
Two weeks ago, she posted another message: “She smiles to mask the pain in her heart. She laughs to conceal the tears in her eyes.” Perhaps the most-obvious statement came when Kardashian changed her name on both Twitter on Instagram from Khloe Kardashian Odom to Khloe Kardashian.
Last month, the pair reportedly spent their fourth wedding anniversary apart. Fans have rallied behind Kardashian amid rumors her marriage is on the rocks. “I think you’re so amazing and beautiful and love how you carry yourself through all of these hard times!!!," one fan wrote on Kardashian's official Facebook page on Tuesday. "You are such an inspiration to me!!!”
The reality star TV replied: “I’m trying my best! Kisses.”
Some have suggested Kardashian's response implied that the rumors regarding her marriage may be true.
If the couple splits, Odom could potentially lose millions of dollars in a divorce settlement.
When the couple married in 2009, they signed a prenup, which reportedly says that Kardashian is owed about $500,000 for every year the pair was married; spousal support totaling $25,000 each month; $5,000 a month for shopping expenses; and $1,000 for beauty care. They would also divide up proceeds from a $500,000 Rolls Royce, a $140,000 Porsche Panamera, and Kardashian’s $850,000 engagement ring.
Kardashian's net worth is estimated at about $18 million, while Odom has earned a reported $56 million during his 14-year NBA career.
