Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Update: Lamar Has Trouble Letting Go
Nearly two years after she filed divorce papers from Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian is still neck deep in drama from her failed marriage. Recent reports reveal that former NBA player Odom is having a hard time dealing with the divorce even though Kardashian is the one who has been openly saying she never wanted to split.
"[Lamar] had a hard time letting go of Khloe," a source told People. Odom dragged out the divorce process for nearly two years before he finally signed the papers in July this year. Kardashian filed the papers in December 2013 after four years of marriage. It wasn’t finalized for an extended period due to Odom’s refusal to sign the papers.
During their estrangement, Kardashian was quoted several times saying she still loves Odom and that she would prefer to still be married to him if it was all up to her. She echoed the sentiments on several episodes of her family’s reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
However, despite constantly professing her love for Odom, Kardashian also opened up about the reasons why the marriage fell apart. While speaking to family members in an episode of the reality show, she shared that Odom had cheated on her and was constantly disappearing with other women. She even admitted lying to her family on several occasions so she wouldn’t have to tell them that she had no idea where her husband was.
More recently, some drama was reported between the two shortly after they signed their divorce papers. Last week, Odom reportedly ambushed Kardashian as she was on her way to a workout session. There was reportedly some shouting and threats about calling the police. Odom has since denied ambushing his ex. Kardashian has not personally addressed the reports.
She has since been spotted with her new man, James Harden. The Houston Rockets star has reportedly been dating Kardashian and Odom isn’t taking it too well. She flew to Houston to see him, the day after the alleged ambush took place.
