Khloé Kardashian Not Dating Matt Kemp, Still 'Heartbroken' Over Pending Lamar Odom Divorce: Report [PHOTO]

Khloé Kardashian is not dating Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, despite rumors to the contrary, according to a report.

Kardashian, who filed for divorce from estranged husband Lamar Odom on Friday, was linked to Kemp after the pair were spotted going to a private gym together, People.com reported. The rumors intensified after Kemp reportedly posted a photo of the gigantic Christmas tree at Kris Jenner’s mansion to his Instagram account. However, a source close to Kardashian claims the 29-year-old is more concerned with getting through her divorce than dating a new boyfriend.

“They are just friends and have been for a long time,” the source told People.com. “Khloé is absolutely heartbroken right now [over Lamar] and dating someone is the last thing she’s thinking about.”

Still, a second source wouldn’t rule out the possibility of the pair dating in the future but stressed that Kardashian and Kemp were not seeing each other while she was still with Odom. “It could be heading [romantically] in the future, but Khloé wasn’t spending time with him when she was still with Lamar. She absolutely wasn’t,” the source said. “People need to remember that she and Lamar haven’t lived together since June."

Kardashian and Odom separated over the summer amid rumors that the former NBA star was using hard drugs and engaging in extramarital affairs. Kardashian seemed determined to salvage the couple’s marriage, but she ultimately decided to file divorce after a video -- in which an intoxicated Odom appeared to brag about cheating on his wife while she was out of town -- leaked to the public. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for the split.

Kemp, 29, dated pop star Rihanna in 2009. In 2011, he finished in second place for the National League’s Most Valuable Player award.
