Khloe Kardashian Posts Cryptic Poem About Closure On Lamar Odom's Birthday
Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian posted a cryptic image of a poem about closure to her Instagram account on Thursday -- one that many observers believe is a nod to her soon-to-be ex-husband Lamar Odom, whose birthday was Nov. 6.
"Like time suspended, a wound unmended—you and I. We had no ending, no said goodbye. For all my life, I'll wonder why," read the poem, entitled "Closure."
The poem is by author and artist Lang Leav and appears in her book "Love & Misadventure."
Kardashian, who has more than 14 million followers on Instagram, didn't offer any explanation, other than to include a heart emoji on the post. She and Odom, the former Lakers basketball player, are in the process of a divorce that Kardashian initiated last December. Kardashian cited “irreconcilable differences” for ending the marriage, which was documented on the popular “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality television franchise on the E! network.
There have been reports that the 30-year-old Kardashian has been unable to get in touch with Odom to finalize their divorce.
"Khloe can't even get in touch with him right now," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. Another source said that Odom “refuses to sign the divorce papers."
A friend of Odom told the magazine that he is hoping to reconcile with Kardashian, although she has already been in a public relationship with rapper French Montana. The couple dated for eight months before breaking up in September.
The rumors about a lack of contact may not be true, however. Another unnamed source told E! News that the couple is in sporadic contact with one another. The source did say that it’s true Odom has yet to sign the divorce papers or to even file a response in court.
Kardashian’s latest adventures can be seen on the most recent Kardashian reality series, “Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons,” which airs on E! Sunday nights.
