Is Khloé Kardashian Really Engaged To Tristan Thompson? The Truth Revealed

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Khloé Kardashian has moved on from estranged husband Lamar Odom with Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson, but is she engaged to him? Websites like MediaTakeOut and In Touch Weekly claimed the two planned to walk down the aisle together, but Gossip Cop exclusively confirmed the story was a hoax Wednesday.

Gossip Cop debunked the story again Friday as rumors continued to swirl. “Khloé Kardashian is NOT engaged, despite a report that’s both late and wrong. Gossip Cop can again set the record straight,” the publication wrote.

In Touch Weekly told a much different story, though. “Khloé is delighted to be engaged and can't wait to tie the knot early next year,” an insider said.

The new couple has only been dating for two years, but Kardashian reportedly started to plan their wedding. “Khloé and Tristan plan on spending at least $1 million on their big day, and are inviting 400 guests,” the source said. “They want the wedding to be in California and are already looking at private estates in Malibu and Santa Barbara.”

Her mom, Kris Jenner, isn’t pleased. Jenner “went ballistic” when she heard and “accused Khloé once again of being blinded by love and moving too quickly.”

But the momager’s ire subsided when she started to think about the money Khloé could rake in. “[Kris] suddenly went from ranting about Khloé’s ‘destructive relationship habits’ to telling her that she’ll make millions marrying Tristan,” the source for In Touch Weekly said.

Again, a rep for the Kardashian’s said the engagement rumors is “not true.”

Instead of responding to the gossip, Khloé wished her sister, Kim, a happy 36th birthday. The star has been in hiding since she was held at gunpoint and robbed of millions in Paris Oct. 3.
