Khloé Kardashian Reveals Lamar Odom Doesn’t Remember Brothel Overdose; Says She's Careful In What She Shares With Him
It’s been weeks since Lamar Odom was released from the hospital, but he’s got a long way to go before he’s back to 100 percent. The former NBA star’s estranged wife Khloé Kardashian will open up about his recovery process during an upcoming episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
According to People magazine, Khloé, 31, will reveal to host Ellen DeGeneres that Lamar is doing much better since his October 2015 overdose. Although he is on the fast track toward recovery, the “Strong Looks Better Naked” author will share with Ellen and those viewing at home that Lamar, 36, is struggling with memory loss. A preview for the interview shows Khloé saying that her estranged beau has been able to retain his long term memory, but has a hard time remembering more recent events — including his hospitalization.
“And every day he’ll ask me, ‘so what happened to me?’” Khloé will share during the show. “Like today specifically, he was like, ‘how many tubes did I have in me again?’ And I’m like, I don’t know what’s too serious to tell you, but I’m honest. I’m like well just a lot, I didn’t count, I don’t know. But it’s good that he wants to know these answers. Before he didn’t want to know — he wasn’t ready to know. So it’s great that he’s at the point that he’s ready to know everything happened.”
This is hardly the first time Khloé’s shared details about Lamar’s health and her relationship with him. On Jan. 13 the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was interviewed by legendary shock jock Howard Stern for his show on Sirius XM. During the interview she shared shocking details about her marriage to Lamar that most had not heard before. Khloé told Howard she scolded Lamar for paying for sex after his brothel overdose. She claimed her harsh words got through to him and he would “never go back to a disgusting brothel ever again.” Khloé also claimed that while she and Odom were still together he cheated on her by getting his assistant to help set up meetings with other women.
Lamar was released from the hospital on Jan. 8, according to E! Online. He was taken from Cedars Sinai Medical Center to a private rehabilitation facility to continue focusing on getting his mind and body functioning like they used to. Prior to his release Lamar appeared in a photo with his son. In the caption Lamar Morales Odom said he was spending Christmas with his dad.
Khloé will appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" alongside sister Kourtney Kardashian on Monday at 4 p.m. EST. Check your local listings for network information. See a preview clip for the episode below:
