Khloe Kardashian's Husband Lamar Odom, Jamie Sangouthai Had Plans To Meet The Day Sangouthai Died

Khloe Kardashian’s husband Lamar Odom was supposed to hang out with his best friend Jamie Sangouthai, the day the latter died due to an alleged drug overdose, Radar Online reported Wednesday, citing an insider. The report added that Odom ditched the plan to party in Las Vegas on Sunday.

“Lamar had planned on hanging out with Jamie over the weekend, but was invited to go to Vegas at the last minute. Jamie didn’t want to go, so Lamar went without him. Never in his wildest dreams did Lamar think that would be the last time he would ever see his best friend,” the insider said, according to Radar Online.

Radar Online reported on Tuesday, citing an eyewitness, that the basketball player had alcohol and Xanax on board the flight and was singing out loud while hearing songs on his headphones. The eyewitness also said that he went to the bathroom thrice during the one-hour flight and was “not relaxed on the plane.”

"Lamar had two shots of vodka and he told the flight attendant 'Vodka and Xanax and I should wake up there,'" the witness told Radar Online.

"He jumped up as soon as the seatbelt light went off and went straight to the bathroom. It was a really bumpy flight and a flight attendant asked if he could make it back to his seat or if he wanted to use their jump seat. He didn’t sit there; he just kept playing with the seat, pushing it up and down and laughing," the witness said, adding: "He was all over the place."

A friend of the Kardashian family, cited by TMZ, said on Tuesday that the family is worried about the impact of Sangouthai’s death on Odom. They are reportedly concerned that Odom may go on a drug binge.

A report by Hollywood Life, over the weekend, said that Khloe was Odom’s “emotional rock” at the time and that the couple, who filed for divorce two years ago, but have not taken it forward, were in contact.

“Khloé tracked Lamar down and has been talking to him. She’s been amazing listening to Lamar‘s pain being a shoulder to cry on,” a source told Hollywood life, adding: “Lamar can’t talk without bawling his eyes out. He’s been crying all night and day.”
