After a short-lived beef with Kanye West and Drake on Twitter, Kid Cudi has revealed a ton of information about his upcoming album, “Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin,” which will be out later this week. While it was originally believed the album would be a sequel to his “Man on the Moon” series, Cudi revealed it would be a separate album. Ahead of its release date, here’s everything we know about the album.

1. It Will Release On Sept. 30

You won’t have to wait long for Cudi’s next album. The Cleveland native will release his long-awaited album later this week on Sept. 30.

2. The Tracklist Features Andre 3000

Cudi has enlisted some big names for his next album including Andre 3000, Travis Scott, Willow Smith and Pharrell. According to the tracklist, Andre 3000 is featured on two songs, “By Design” and “The Guide.”

3. The Album Features 18 Songs

Similar to his “Man on the Moon” albums, the latest project will be broken up into four acts and will feature a total of 18 songs. Pharrell will be featured on two of the songs, while Willow Smith and Travis Scott will each be featured on one.

4. It Will Be A Double-Disc Album

According to Cudi, the length of the album will be over an hour and 30 minutes, which means the physical copy will be a double-disc set. The rapper also said the album will be available on all streaming platforms.

5. He’s Back To Working With Mike Dean And Plain Pat

After releasing an alternative rock album in 2015, Cudi is getting back to hip-hop and has worked with Mike Dean, Mike Will Made It and longtime collaborator, Plain Pat. The rapper has already released two songs from the album, “Frequency” and “All In.”
