Kim Kardashian Atkins Diet: Shows Weight Loss In New Sears Commercial Plus Celebrities Who Follow Meal Plan
The Atkins diet has apparently worked wonders for reality star Kim Kardashian, who shows off her weight loss in a new Sears commercial alongside her sisters. She, Khloe, and Kourtney debuted their latest Kardashian Kollection for Sears, and Kim looks fantastic.
In a racy black dress from their collection, the 31-year-old shows off ample cleavage and a small waist, just months after giving birth to her baby, North.

Kim credited her 50-pound weight loss, to the Atkins diet, a low-carbohydrate meal plan. Carbs are drastically reduced, and dieters consume more protein and fat than they would from a normal diet. The body then uses fat as fuel, causing rapid weight loss.
“What distinguishes the Atkins diet is the absence of a lot of carbohydrates, so that leaves out a lot of choices,” “The Great Cholesterol Myth” author Jonny Bowden told E! News recently. “You can make bad choice and good choices, but there's nothing dangerous about the Atkins diet. There really isn't a downside to it."
Kardashian is not the first celebrity to lose weight by following the Atkins diet.
Renee Zellweger
Renee Zellweger, who is known as much for her figure as she is for her movie roles, has followed the Atkins diet for years. She needed to lose weight for her role in "Chicago" after gaining weight to play Bridget Jones.
Sharon Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne claims she lost 28 pounds in three months following the Atkins diet. "It has been a life-changing experience. It's not really a diet, it's a lifestyle change … It's so yummy. It's all about proteins and vegetables. You can go out to eat and you can have scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon or a salad. On the diet, it's very broad what you can eat,” she said at the time.
Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston is reportedly a huge fan of the Atkins diet. The plan includes foods such as eggs, grilled chicken, lean red meat, seafood, and plenty of fruits and vegetables. She also has been linked to the New Atkins diet, which includes small portions of healthy carbs such as brown rice and pasta.
