Kim Kardashian Barbie Doll: Kim, Kourtney, Khloe Made into Dolls for Mattel [PHOTOS]
You knew it wouldn't be long before the Kardashian Klan expanded their product line into the toy world.
Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian will be made into Barbie dolls for Mattel, according to a report from Us Weekly, that says a limited-edition doll is set to hit the market this year.
The dolls will reflect the girls' measurements and may even (come) in Kardashian-designed outfits, an unnamed source told Us Weekly.
While a representative for Mattel declined to comment about the product rumors to multiple media sources, Kim Kardashian alluded to plans that she will become a Barbie doll via her official Twitter account.
Merry Christmas Barbs @BarbieStyle! Long time no see! What did Ken get you for Christmas? Miss you doll! Kardashian tweeted on Dec. 25.
Shortly after, the Official Barbie Twitter replied to Kardashian.
Happy Doll-idays to you too, @KimKardashian! See you in 2012?
The correspondence continued when Kardashian replied, I'm sure we will be seeing lots of each other! Shopping soon! Xo.
According to the Huffington Post, the dolls will be called Dash Dolls, according to rumors, to reflect the clothing they will be wearing, which can be purchased at Dash boutiques.
The Kardashian Barbie dolls will also reflect their unique measurements, not unlike the original Barbie herself. According to a study from the University of South Australia, Barbie's measurements if she were 5'9 would be 36-18-33 (chest-waist-hips), which has a likelihood of one in 100,000 in real life. However, Mattel has said Barbie's measurements were never scaled to reflect real-life dimensions, though rumors are circulating Kardashian's figure, including her infamous derriere, will be reflected.
This is not the first time Kim Kardashian was immortalized; Back in July, 2010, Kardashian was measured to become a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York.
